At Terraced Growth Investment Financial, we believe that our clients should have a safe base of assets, where their principal is protected to mesh with the investment side of our business where assets are more volatile. Matt has been helping clients achieve this level of safety since 1989. Terraces are like step-ups in fixed indexed products or managed money, using interest or dividends to help build on top of a solid foundation.

Just as a staircase goes up, certain insurance-based products may get credits on years when the market is up, and only get a zero when markets are down. In seminars, I illustrate the pros and cons of these products and ways clients may better returns – without all the extra, sometimes expensive riders, fees, caps, etc. We can also use structured notes under our investment arm to help limit downside risk.

Many clients come to me unhappy with how their brokerage money has been handled. Moving forward, I’m pleased to incorporate investment management for a percentage of their assets through IAMS Wealth Management. I have experience in stocks and bonds, and periodically take training to help advance my knowledge.

The Gsellman's purchased their farm in Eastern Medina County in 2000. Matt's four children now manage the farm located at our old office at 3632 Allard Rd, although the new private road is called Legacy Woods Trail.  After putting the private road in, most of the farm was passed down to the children, so they could build on the property and raise their children in Granger Township.  The kids maintain the land, plants, and various animals.
